Other popular styles are ARO, Tru-Flate (Automotive), Lincoln, etc. HLVP (High Volume Low Pressure) fitting styles include Coilhose Megaflow and Milton "V" series.
sizes of couplers & connectors There are two sizes to an air fitting: the body size and the pipe thread or hose barb size. Common body sizes for pneumatic nailers and staplers are 1/4" and 3/8". Common thread sizes are 1/4" and 3/8" FPT (Female Pipe Thread) and MPT (Male Pipe Thread).
